Do they have GF pasta??
Great food, but gets real busy at times.
Small and quaint but well worth the possible wait. JP couldn't be a better host and the food was amazing. We'll definitely be going back.
MoreYum! Worth the wait! The house red wine was wonderful and the chicken fettuccine was out of this world. Cash only!!
MoreEvery year my family and I have a summer tradition to come here. They always have a great atmosphere and even more delicious food. Don't let the paper/plastic plates fool you, this is the place to be!
MoreLove this little restaurant. My favorite place to eat at GOTL ♥️.
The food is always better than other Italian restaurants. Differant! Great friendly service ! Love. Geneva on the Lake fun.
MoreI have been around to 43 states, and I must say this is the best Pasta in the contiguous United States I've ever had. This man is a chef from Italy here to share his and his grandmother's recipes with us a Geneva on the Lake. He may be a bit stern on his rules, however his place, his rules. Amazing home like eating experience with the best pasta my month has ever had.
MoreOne of the top 3 best Italian meals I have ever had!!! Was with 3 friends and we all enjoyed it.
MoreGreat food and great service.
Delicious Italian dishes. Pasta cooked el dente, not "undercooked" like the uneducated refer to it as. If you need an "out of the bag" salad & "cooked to death" cheap pasta, try Olive Garden. Prices here are only about $1-$2 higher than any other decent pasta house and sauce is made fresh in front of you, not from a can. And shame on you for ordering spaghetti & meatballs with so many better dishes offered.
MoreNot much to look at, a little tight and dingy inside, but the food...oh my. I balked at the pricing a little because the environment gave me the impression that it wasn’t going to be justified, but I was dead wrong. My daughter had shrimp Alfredo which was so rich and full of complex fresh flavor, and my penne a la vodka was better than I’ve had at many high end Italian restaurants in NYC. Great surprise! Gets 4 stars only due to aesthetics, the place really needs a facelift inside and out to put it on par with what I’d consider to be a 5 star Italian restaurant. I’d put it at 4.3-4.5 stars if I could....
MoreSimply SPECTACULAR. There is ABSOLUTELY no better pasta in the USA. If you can go here you MUST go here...
MoreFood was not good and was served on paper plates. The restaurant was 90 degrees inside. Not a good experience at all.
MoreGreat flavors and big portions. If you think that it is too expensive then you do not know food. Order the Mussel App. It is just as tasty as Lockkeepers. Also, order off of the menu and select the seafood pasta. These two dishes are as good as you will find. If you do not enjoy those selections then you are a corndog/greasy spoon person.
MoreWorse place ever. Way over priced!$15.95 for a paper plate of dry spaghetti. Asked for a little extra sauce was told no! Not even a salad with it. No table service. Wrong bill twice. Cold food. Cash no cards Nasty people! Never will return.
MoreOutstanding food. Every dish is made individually, never had a bad meal here.
Amazing pasta, JP, Calvin and crew are wonderful. Definitely coming back to try other selections, watching them come out if the chef window was mouth watering!
MoreDark, crowded and dirty. Dog running through without leash. They attempted to refuse service to us because my son is in a wheelchair. I pushed the issue. The dog appeared after we were eating. They turned people away and seated their friends. We sat at the door and observed all of this. We were Never offered anything but water while friends were offered wine. What a joke. $16 for pasta with no salad.
MoreThe food is delicious, that is all i meed to say
Best Italian food in Ashtabula! Love this place. JP and Cindy offer fresh, delicious food at a fair price. It is impossible for me to pick a favorite dish, because I have never had a bad one. We have been eating here for 20 years. One summer I tried 21 different entrees. I loved every one of them. I just wish they stayed open year round.
MoreGreat little place with great service. If ever come try the out. I tried the bone-in pork chop special, I was impressed.
MoreBest place to have dinner on the strip!
I have been coming here for over 15 years. Always great food and friendly environment. Highly recommend if you like Italian food, wine etc.
MoreSo this place appears to have been around a long time. There's nothing fancy about it - cheap tables, plastic plates, no air, cash only. But my partner and I came here and had amazing lobster ravioli, and had wine from the Italian-only wine list. It was great. Until we came back. We drove over an hour to come back. We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday night. As we walked to the door to ask for a 2-top, the employee rudely pushed us out of the door, flipped the sign from open to closed, and said, "Sorry guys, better luck next time." Sorry, Piero's - there won't be a next time. All you had to do was honor your posted biz hours until 9pm. So, don't waste your time on this place.
MoreWorst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Took at least 45 no idea to take our order, cold spaghetti that was undercooked waitress never returned to see if we needed anything and never brought the beer that was ordered had to get it from the guy bussing tables. On top of that had to listen to the waitress complain about all the trouble it was to give another customer a little extra sauce then she refused to give someone in my party any extra sauce. At $17 a plate I would expect good service and some sauce when requested .No salad and like 4 small slices of bread for a table of 6. Definitely will not return.
MoreExcellent food as always!
Extremely unfriendly. Sat down anyway menu said that the sausage pasta had 3 with it, waitress even talked me out of another dish. Ordered the 3 sausage dish, and it came with 2. I asked to confirm it came with 3, they says yes. The owner and cook threw somewhat of a temper tantrum small king untensils down and saying menu was changed but it clearly said 3. Made my family feel very uncomfortable and we couldn’t wait to get out. Didn’t even finish. Never been treated poorly at a “family ran” restaurant
MoreOh my! The food is fantastic! The service was great... definitely a place to go while in the area! Hours are short, and they only take cash, but it's worth it!
MoreOur first visit to this gem in Geneva!! Food and atmosphere was fabulous!! Check it out if you are in the area!! Perfect Italian cuisine!! Welcoming atmosphere!! Salute!! 🍷🍷🍷
MoreLove their pasta!!
Was there 2 weeks ago. Stopped in with another couple at 8:02.sign said closed but the owner after me pressing the issue offered us ravioli and salad. Everything was fresh hot and delicious! The reason he first said no was all but one pasta water was emptied. Lucky us for the one still filled! We loved so much we prepaid for their end of season 5 course dinner Fri and sat Oct 18 and 19 with limited seating!. Thank you gianpiero and cindy. Can't wait!
MoreFantastic best kept secret. Best Italian food. Would go back again and again.
The food and service was the best as usual.
Great place with a open grill, you are able to watch the chief performing his art. You are treated like family the moment you come though the door.
MoreGreat food, super fast service, friendly staff. All around wonderful. It was 7:58 when we walked up. Closed at 8 and gave us a table.
MoreAmazing salmon with lobster reduction sauce & pasta on the side included. Best sauce I have EVER had on salmon in 30 years!! A must have! Lil hole in the wall. Fyi, cash only. No a/c but charming !
More1. The old man, the owner I presume, is beyond rude. 2. I ordered spaghetti with clam sauce. It was like no other. .. spicy, with very few clams. I told the owner and he said " I been making like this for 25 years! Nobody complain.". Well, excuse me! I have had this dish many times at many different restaurants. I'm sorry. I didn't like it. Should I just eat it and keep my mouth shut? I think not! He reluctantly took it back. The chef then came over to see why I didn't like it. He was VERY courteous and asked if I would like something else. He prepared it and brought it to the table. This is how I expected to be treated...with respect. The owner needs to learn a lesson from the chef. Treat your customers like you would like to be treated. If I want to be insulted, I would go down the street to the Sunrise Inn! 🤭😡
MoreWonderful meal, great wine, good friends, couldn't be better.
Great quality food for an area of fast/carnival-type food. The chef/owner is talented and friendly.Go when they're not too busy, this place is small and tables are close together. Might want to get a sitter for the kids and take the spouse out for a romantic night. We did for my wife's birthday.
MoreBest Italian food I have ever had. We'll definitely be back next year. 😉
One of a kind Italian dining experience, small European Bistro style venue along with perfectly cooked pasta enhanced by Piero's charm.
MoreThe food was delicious and pipping hot. I loved how the owner/cook took you dinner order and that it was made as the front of the restaurant, right out in the open. Prices start at around $12 and they only take cash. It's a must! Pictures of the food, don't do it justice.
MoreVery nice atmosphere. Service was excellent.
Excellent food!!! Great up close and personal atmosphere.
Great food ! My new favorite spot
Love this place. Went with family and friends, and Piero is kind and a fantastic cook, the mussels are amazing, as is pretty much everything.
MoreThe food was INCREDIBLE. The chef, John, and his wife, Cindy, are top-notch. Cindy serves as the waitress and even when the restaurant is crowded, service is swift and not rushed. We had HOMEMADE meat ravioli with basil sauce, HOMEMADE meatballs, HOMEMADE pasta, HOMEMADE mozzarella with roasted red peppers. JUST A WONDERFUL CULINARY EXPERIENCE! BRAVO!!!!!!!!!
MoreI thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Piero's Pasta House. I was intown with a client and we both enjoyed two fabulous pasta dishes prepared right before your eyes. The owners were very attentive, and the service was top notch. I only wish I lived locally so I could go back for dinner very night.
